For Sale: 1945 Taylorcraft for sale on ebay
Read this chap's spiel. I would take a look at it, because he speaks the correct language. He sounds the right kind of seller to me, but I know nothing of the aeroplane.
I won't buy it because the import cost to the UK would be unreal.

..in a crate, and that gets expensive! mind you, you can fit 3 in a std 40' container.

How do you work a contingency (i.e. check for title, liens, pre-buy) into an e-bay auction? Better still, anyone you know ever bought an airplane off e-bay and what precautions did he take? - Mike

No Rob,you would need the wing tanks,a few cans in the seat,floor boards,and baggage,an entire week of perfect weather along the entire route of flight,a relief tube threw the floor or out the door,and then....would probably still need that friendly rescue helicopter
