  • Looking for Experienced BC12-D Builder As Partner to Complete Restoration of N95911.

I am searching for an experienced BC12-D builder, who will buy out my 50% partner and take the lead in the completion of the restoration of our 1946 BC12-D, reg: N95911. I live in Phoenix, AZ. The airplane is currently registered with FAA and State of Arizona. The airplane and all the parts are based in a dedicated hangar at Deer Valley Airport. I am an A&P and Private Pilot. Many parts have been overhauled or bought new, and we have purchased new spars and the CAP 1500 lb. STC. We have a C85-12F (electric start) with many overhauled parts. Ribs are stamped aluminum (I think they're called post war), all LH ribs have been overhauled. We have 2 ea. A-65 as-removed engines that we plan to sell. If interested, please send me an email at [email protected] or call me at 623-340-0383. Thanks, John Gregg Jr.

Thanks Slam. To take on a new restoration partner, I know that since the plane is based in a hangar in Phoenix AZ, I'll have to find someone, who also lives in Phoenix. My present partner (A&P IA) moved back home to Anchorage. I would really like to participate in the restoration - as guided by another more experienced Taylorcraft restoration mechanic as the lead. So, if someone is interested in becoming a half-owner and would like to be involved with a well-on-its-way, quality BC12-D restoration in Phoenix, let me know. Of course the cost to buy in as half owner would be much less expensive than buying 100% of the complete project. Secondarily, we would entertain selling the complete project, so if someone is interested in buying the complete project, we can talk about it.
