  • !941 BC12-65 deLuxe for sale

    Hi all,

Sadly, it’s time for me to get out of the game. I will be selling my ’41 deLuxe and everything that goes with it. A second, disassembled prewar T-Craft is included in the sale (less fuselage, empennage and ailerons).

    1941 Taylorcraft BC12-65 deLuxe
    CAA Aircraft Orientation Record: March 11, 1941 S/N 2628 N29780
Aircraft records/logs dating back to 1941 (most original)
    All 337s
    Complete aircraft log since 1948
    TT airframe 3208.2
Last major: 1991 SMO: 1890 Top end 2012
    Last annual May 4, 2025 Compressions 70 70 65 70 cold
    Non electric
    Sealed struts
    New roller bearings
    New main fuel tank
    Scott tailwheel
Full set Bruce’s Custom Covers (w/ 1” foam on wings)
Maintenance performed by Dr. Tim since 2015
Ailerons, elevators, horizontal stabs and rudder repaired/recovered in 2022/23.
New wood spars manufactured and installed in ailerons. (Thanks Dr. Tim)

Parts from the disassembled T-craft that are included with the sale are:
Two wings (one disassembled and one stripped of fabric to serve as template)
    New spars (pre-drilled)
Crankcase, crankshaft, camshaft, accessory case (unknown condition)
    Two doors (wood)
MANY additional items that came from the dismantled aircraft.
Not included with the dismantled aircraft are the fuselage, empennage and ailerons.

Everything except the new spars and one wing from the second aircraft are located on the outskirts of Las Vegas. The disassembled wing is with me. Dr. Tim has the new spars and the other (assembled) wing in northern Utah.

I’m not interested in parting stuff out. I would like the whole thing to go in one complete package. If the plane doesn’t sell in a few months, I’ll consider selling the large items separately such as the spars, wings, covers, engine parts, etc.

I would like to get $25K for the plane and extra parts. (New spars alone are $5K delivered!)

If interested, contact me (Peter) at (seven six zero) two one seven-zero four nine six and leave a message. I’ll call back.

PS: I would love to add more photos, but it took me a half a day to figure out how to get this one posted!!!!

Really sorry to hear you are selling. If you have a way to get the photos to me I can post them fairly easy. I have you and your plane on file but that is the only photo I have of her.
