L2-B project for sale

1942 Taylorcraft L2-B project for sale. Factory serial #L-4705, USAAC serial #43-130
Clean, straight fuselage, seats, multiple fuel tanks, 2 sets of tail feathers, 2 sets of landing gear, 2Continental A-65 engines ( 1 is disassembled the other I purchased from local EAA chapter and was told it's complete internally but timed out), 2 Type A-7 mag switches, 2 boot cowls, Boeing style cowl fasteners, new instrument panel, U.S. Gauge Co. instruments, Stewart Warner tach, 2 sets of ailerons (1 set has stamped ribs the other is wood), complete trim tab w/accessories including original knobs, throttle levers w/linkage and knobs, original seats including rear swivel, 2 original mooring kits, original first aid kit with some original components, all wing struts, 4 wheels w/hardware/clips/adjusters. Project has most of, if not all hardware for the wings

Have had messages about parting this project out, I really didn't want to do that. But as there has been minimal interest in the whole project I'm thinking that maybe I should part it out.

Projects are something it seems the younger set (overall not ALL! Want) I did not see any wings listed amongst items mentioned included. That is kind of a big deal if not there . L2 wings are not easy to come by. Most anyone would want a more complete project would be my best guess.

Nice set of used wings dont exist. New wings no one wants to pay for. I have an "M" project at a giveaway price and can't sell it because it only comes with wings as patterns.

Pretty much what I was saying. So this project does not apparently have the wing hardware to add another level to the issue. Heck 20 years ago I would taken on A project (and did) re build a set of L2B wings. Even then I would at least require hardware..

Hope springs eternal. Knowing the parts are available would (and still does) get me excited. I have a project to finish before my life is finished however.

Lesg hope some younger ones step up.

Actually, this project has most, if not all hardware needed to build the wings!

You listed every thing well that was included in your ad. Hopefully you can edit and add this also. I know if I were looking to purchase it would be a big deal to me anyway. Good luck with the sale..
