I have a set of "home made" wing jacks that are ideal for the
Taylorcraft. They consist of a pair of heavy-duty camper jacks (screw
with crank) and a custom welded bracket that fits around the
struct/wing attach fitting. The bracket has a post which fits into a
hole on the top of the jack. It's a very strong and stable arrangement.
They can be yours if you come get them. The jacks are heavy (20+ lbs
each) and about four feet long when retracted so they would fit in a
172 but not a Tcraft.
I will be at the airport (17S) some time on Sunday if you are interested.
