  • 46 BC12D for sale, a project but not bad

It is with a heavy heart that I need to sell my Taylorcraft. It was annualled back in October. It flew very well with new sealed WagAero struts. But the pilot went to sleep on the controls and I had an off runway excursion. I bought the airplane from the insurance company. I do not want it to be parted out. It is too good of an airplane and some knowledgeable types tell me that I could have it in the air in a couple months but my roomy will have none of it. She wants it gone.

It has a Cont A65 and it did have a prop strike, however I have a zero time A75 built by Buck Hilbert, an expert in engine rebuilding. We could make a deal for the airplane and the engine. They are located in my hangar at FWQ, Rostraver Airport, about 10 miles SE of Pittsburgh, PA

I have a lot of pictures showing the damage but it appears to be minimal. Wings good, gear appears good, struts perfect. I will get you pictures and let's talk if you are really interested. Please don't bother me if you are snooping for fun.

    Thanks

ID:	192940I didn't realize I could post a picture. Here it is, the bad side of the aircraft. The other side looks normal and perfect. It has wheel pants but they were not on the airplane at the time.

AW CRUD! Is that 44057? If so that is a NICE airplane and deserves to be fixed. I have a photo in the database with the pants. I talked to the owner after the incident and I am just glad she didn't get destroyed by the insurance company. DO you want this re-posted on the FB group?
