  • '40 BL Project still for sale...

I have a '40 BL project, s/n 1620, for sale. I have airframe logs back to 1944, plus airworthiness certificate. No engine or mount; the airplane had been flown for years with a Continental A-65-8, and cowlings had been cut for that installation. Asking $1500 cash for quick sale; it is taking up needed room in hangar. Certainly it is worth the asking price for useable parts; it may be rebuildable, though it was badly damaged on ground in windstorm many years ago and stored in barn since. No wing struts; they were damaged and subsequently lost. Many photos are available at website:

I have had previous offers to buy from Taylorcraft group, yet no money has crossed over, and I really need the space. If interested call (814) 793-3292 or e-mail at: [email protected]

'twas not late then, Forrest, but 'tis now (almost midnight).
Hope you and yours had a good thanksgiving; I'm hoping to get back to Alliance for the Reunion next year again.

I am very interested in the project but getting it back to Vermont is a bit overwhelming. Can you come up with any easy solutions?
