    I bet you could make them from brass and solder the tube in and nut on. Then you could run a wire loop through the threaded knob and hook it to the window so when you took the knob off it couldn't be lost. I am betting you can bend a couple of sets up in a lot less than a half day, but if I was going to do it, I would ask my IA if I could make the mods to it. I spent a LONG TIME looking for that stupid threaded knob and the tube in the grass once! I just got new washers, they weren't worth looking for.

      The pin that is on my doors is a shortened hitch pin works great and easy to build and readily available at tractor supply aviation.This is a better photo.

        I forgot you used the hitch pin for the threaded knob and the hinges. PURDY SMART FER A COUNTRY BOY! Just don't catch your pants on the end of the pin!
