  • 1946 BC 12-D For Sale 630 hours since factory new

    1946 Taylorcraft BC 12-D. Lowest time Taylorcraft out there. Overhauled in 1993. At the time of overhaul the total time was only 289 hours since new. The total time since new now is 640 hours. Engine is Continental A-65-8 and has 333 hours since overhaul in 1993, Compressions are all in the 70's with no leaks. New wood Sensenich prop installed in 2006. This aircraft is in pristine condition. No electrical system. New intercomm and internal antenna. Paint and interior are a 9 to 10. Glass is like new. Plane is covered in ceconite. have wheel pants. 24 gallons of fuel. I have original logbooks.

        Why does it look like your registration number on the rudder looks like N19491?

          Yep, its 91 on the tail and 61 on the wing. Imagine that.

                It's not, but who besides us would have ever noticed. ;-)
                I bet it could have flown from any local airport in the country for decades and no one would have noticed.

                  19461 is correct. Remember, upside down 9 is a 6. Graphics guys screwed up I bet.
