  • Collecting L-2 projects

I think I need a 12 step program or at least a support group. I was searching for a few parts that were missing from my L-2 project and instead picked up 2 1/2 more projects. It's 3 N-numbers worth of parts but missing 1 fuselage. I just got back with a 26' truck load and didn't get everything. I've got to unload tomorrow and then make another run. It's a 10 hr round trip so I don't relish it but 2 loads was the safest way to move everything.

Forrest, you'll be interested that one of them you parted with a few years ago. I'm now the caretaker of N61623, s/n 4008, BU 42-452, the first of the 4 YO-57's delivered. I sure hope the metal spars are usable so I can keep it original.

I should now have enough stuff to build 3 L-2's. I think my retirement projects are lined up.

        Greg,

Just to let you know that I am a short hop away (Deridder, La. K
DRI ) if you need to see an L2M in person. If you need any pictures, I can send/take what you need.

          Greg,

I have a few L-2 items, too, from the spares I collected when I had my L-2B. Let me know if your addiction requires them. I can send pictures.
          Cheers,
          Marty

I will have to check our serial number but I think ours is either the 3rd or last YO-57 that was delivered.
