I have been trying to purchase the 4 CD set of L2 blueprints for several months now with no success. I have called many times and left many messages and sent many emails to the person who has the master copies with absolutely no response whatsoever. Is there someone else who has a set who would be willing to make copies and sell them to me? I have an airworthy L2M and would like to improve upon the originality of the airplane and really need these discs. I look forward to a reply from someone who is willing to share/sell me the set. Thanks in advance!

Re: L2 blueprint CD's
I am, we had legal problems. They are over. 6 sets are on my desk. I shipped two to Foundation members last Friday. I am ashamed to say I may have cashed one check prematurely. Whoever it was let me know ....
I have copied four requests and will respond to them tomorrow ( our day off)!
IF YOU want to do a follow up, just re e-mail me at [email protected] and I will answer ; put your Taylorcraft Foundation number in the subject line ie: TF# 1 or what ever.
Give me mailing address , credit card or check in the mail. We are selling them through Barber Aircraft for $35.00 plus $5.00 S&H Total $40.00 . $10.00 goes to the Foundation .
Next will be the wing & fuselage CD's.... We have Ron Greene to thank for all this it is an amazing set of 4 CD's. I just finally looked at them all see to work put into them. Remember I have all the source material here on hard copy and a lot of fellows have just used it.Taylorcraft Foundation, Inc

Re: L2 blueprint CD's
Here is e-mail to three requests.
WE FINALLY have them ready …. Legal issues resolved. IF you still want a set they are sold by Barber Aircraft, they are $35.00 for four CD’s ; plus $5.00 S&H . Total will be $40.00 . $10.00 goes to the Taylorcraft Foundation. We take Visa or MC ; two day shipping. Send mailing address with order. Send to Barber Aircraft , 13820 Union Ave NE, Alliance, Oh 44601 include your Taylorcraft Foundation number…. Thanks Forrest Barber ; President of the Foundation
As to posting of the drawings , that was done before with a lot of other drawings. The problem we had were people with dial up trying to download them, a group from South America tied up our server for days....... The Foundation Board of Directors met in July at the fly-in and this method was decided upon.
Remember we do not have the TC for the tandem ; THAT is owned by the Pima Air Museum , I really do not think they have the right to claim support of the TC ; check with them for questions on the tandems.
There is no "master set" they are all copyable and that was the problem.
When you order a set they are for your own restoration project and are not to be copied , given away or sold. Keep them with the aircraft records...Taylorcraft Foundation, Inc

I had the understanding that Ron donated CD's to the foundation to solve the property rights issue with the Smithsonian over selling the cd's. If that is the case, should not the transactions be made through the foundation? If I am wrong, let me know.

Re: L2 blueprint CD's
Dear Forrest. I do not know what my foundation number is. I sent in my registration via paypal at the end of May 2009. I also sent 2 emails to you and not had a reply. Will you send me a copy of the CD's if I send you a check for the ammount you specified? I have a L2M that I am trying to restore and really could use the CD set. Thank you.

Re: L2 blueprint CD's
yes mack e-mail direct I will seek your number , these are for the members only for their own recreation and enjoyment. The Foundation nor Barber Aircraft accepts any liability for their accuracy etc........
If you all recall , I, Forrest Barber, Barber Aircraft paid $2800.00 for the drawings from Mrs. Feris , then $35.00 for the micro films from the Smithsonian, and the full micro fishe file from Mrs. Feris was donated by her. THEY are all here for use by the members. I have all the older manuals from my Fathers collection, CAM 18; All the service information and the old SB#s. For the #746 , 696 , 699 & 700. Plus 1A9 . & the Model A. They were all laid out at the Alliance Fly-In ; I think two people looked at them .
I just do not have time to search out the information, drive to Kinko's have it copied, mail it etc....
Ron Greene did a great job as did others in copying , scanning, placing on CD's.... there is a lot out there.
We need to work with the TC holders, it is really their property.
The TC holders need to decide what they want to do with their data.
I have been threatened with law-suits by various holders of the TC's in the past. The FAA has inquired three times and we passed the test. We must do it their way.Taylorcraft Foundation, Inc

Re: L2 blueprint CD's
If A-696 drawings were to become available would that be a good thing?
Upside, no more guesswork. Downside, no more leeway.
If the TC holder were to publish the drawings as an index to the available PMA'd parts that would be a great thing!
But would such correct information render some t-crafts unairworthy at their next annual?
