Are there any STC for the L2's?

I tried to search for past posts, but can't seem to make the "Search"
function work. I'm sure it's user error.

      Re: STC's for L2's

Here in Oregon the fact that you have an old 337 means nothing.

I had an IA of 40 years, who knows many of the the powers at our local GADO (May not have that correct) prepare a perfect 337 to install 8.00 tires on my BC12D and backed it up with 6 perfect 337 which had been approved in the past.

Answer, NO, in fact they gave it no real consideration at all.

So in conclusion STC’s provide the only path they will except for modifications.

Just wondering if there are any STC’s that might exist for the L2M.

Checked the foundation and searched the posts and didn’t find any.

Searching around the web resulted in a comment that there was an STC to install a C85-8

If any if the repari forms are older than '56, the FAA can shove them you know where. They would be considered approved data and only a log book entry required. You may also read the new NPRM that recently came out that makes alot of little things a log book entry rather than 337's. Bowden was working on STC to install any small continental in an L-2, not sure if it was ever 100% completed though.
