  • New L-2B owner

    Hello all.

I'm new to this group but the first airplane ever owned was a 1941 BC12-65 standard in 1982 until 1989
    Had a 46 Luscombe 8A from 1992 until 2004
    I now have a 1950 Cessna 140A

    I recently purchased a 1943 Taylorcraft DCO-65 L-2B

It's out of annual but doesn't look like it's going to need to much work to get it back flying.

It does seem to be missing the parking brake components.
I'm going to look and see if any parts are still on the aircraft and then began the search.

I have already talked to some of the folks I see on here and hope learn more about keeping this L-2 flying !!

Based at KLVJ , Clover Field , just south of Houston Hobby Airport.

Welcome to the forum and the Houston neighborhood. I don't have any extra parking brake parts but I know I've got them to look at. The guy I bought from had made a couple sets he was missing and showed them to me. I think the brake is still installed on my YO-57 so you've got that to look at too when the time comes. Do you have it home yet?
