Unknown Part

Hi all, hoping some of you T-Crafters out there can help, when I purchased my L2M it came in bits, many parts in crates and plastic tubs, luckily I also have the manuals and parts list which have an invaluable help but there is one part that I cannot identify, not even sure if it from the L2M but I have found a home for all the other bits that it was with it so I presume it belongs somewhere, pix attached.

That looks like a flying wire attach fitting but maybe wrong. I'm pretty certain its not L2

Thanks for your feedback, inclined to agree as I have scoured the parts book and drawings and have found nothing like it, must have crept in with the other bits somehow.

it might also be a fitting for float rigging as well
