I have this document and not sure of the source but I'll put it here for reference. It mentions EDO 1320's but may apply to others. I have these on my Taylorcraft welded to the tubing.
Must be several options for rear float fittings. Some clamp on like the recent thread on EDO 1400's with pics or the one above linked, some are welded on the tubing like Taylorcraft's above (mine) and Atlee Dodge's mainly for Cubs, and you say tubular rear fitting on yours. Likely depended on model of float first installed and if it was a factory seaplane "S" model or later modified in the field for float use.
I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow and post here for the record. Maybe others could help and do the same so we have a source of that information to refer to later.
I'll try to climb up and get a pic of mine too....got a bunch of junk piled in front of it right now.
Happy Independence Day to you too...from tropical MT! haha
John
Here's pics of my welded-on rear float fitting and upper strut fitting. The block on the strut bolts to the fuselage. Crossed tie wires attach to the lower tang on the fuselage fittings. Everybody happy.
