I'm not familiar with the L2 documentation at all so I don't know what everyone has access to.
I'm a reader of Warbird news online. In this article
They mention the Avialogs Organization dedicated to Canadian aircraft document preservation. I searched for Taylorcraft & Auster and maybe found a great resource. They have hi-resolution pdf files of 4 documents for the L2 all published by the USAAF from 1944. Per the preface they are for use by the USA and it's allies; they are all specific to the L2 and not some general document.
On the engines they have manuals for C-50 and Lyc 0-145 and Franklin 215's.
You can view them for free, but it appears in order to be able to download documents an annual subscription is required of $39 USD. the pdfs are clear and complete at this link, http://www.avialogs.com/index.php/ai...asshopper.html
They have all kinds of US mfgr's and in the UK 4 models of Auster.
