I printed them with a small pilot hole where the mounting screws go.
To mount them yesterday, I drilled the pilot hole out to 5/64" (I think) and used PK screws (#4 x 1/4") to mount them.
The doors from David W. didn't have holes for mounting the handles. But luckily, I had an original door. So I got the handle location from that old door and drilled the new .125" holes (a bit of clearance for the PK screws).
I primed them and painted them silver. I wasn't sure how the paint would stick to the plastic. But a day after painting them, I was handling them vigorously during the mounting process. And the paint held up fine
I printed two pairs of handles. So I have a spare pair that I'm willing to part with. I'd rather give them to someone who can use them as a pattern to make a mold. But with 3-D printers becoming more commonplace, maybe molding them doesn't really make sense.
I have a new instrument panel, glove box doors and hinges from David but I do not have handles to go with it all. I would love to buy them from you, please let me know.
