        Thanks for the information. Can you tell me what the difference is between Scintilla SF-4L, SF4LN-20, and -21? Also which ones have the impulse coupling coil?

          The SF-4L is the old style mag without impulse couplings. If they are in good shape starting without the impulse coupling is not a problem, but you do need to spin the prop faster. Especially when the engine is hot. The SF4LN-20 and SF4LN-21 are newer style magnetos. They can be ordered new. The -21 is an impulse magneto. The newer mags are also lighter.
