I'm restoring #N6669N prototype model 20, would like to know if anyone out there knows the origin of the interior and exterior door handles. I believe they used car/truck handles of the 1954 era, but have been unable to find which make and model. If I know what I'm looking for, maybe I can find some on Ebay. A couple of mine have cracks through them and don't work very well, any help would be appreciated.

Re: Taylorcraft ranchwagon/zephyr door handles
If you have some originals (even if damaged) post some pictures and maybe we can track the source down. Prior to WW-II Taylorcrafts seemed to have a HUGE number of Studebaker bits and pieces in them. I was told there used to be a Studebaker plant close to the Taylorcraft factory in Ohio. There were a lot of different planes that used parts from other industries.

Re: Taylorcraft ranchwagon/zephyr door handles
Hi Hank and Forrest, I'm attaching a couple of pics of my door handles. Maybe someone on the forum will recognise which car or truck they come from. They would have to be at least say pre 1953-54. I have tried searching the net for the major brand names, but so far no luck. Thanks
