IMG_20261016_145753034_HDR.jpg IMG_20261016_150024757_HDR.jpg I recently finished the install of the Trig TT23G Mode S Transponder w/ADSb Out. For ADSb In a Sentry receiver displays traffic on a iPad nested in the control wheel. The student training at our uncontrolled field can get very busy with student training from surrounding areas. I make radio calls prior to takeoff or entering the airport area but that doesn't seem to work with some pilots. I feel a little more comfortable knowing I'm on their screens now. I have a Becker comm, PS Engineering intercom and the Trig operating on a 12v AGM battery. Looks like 6 to 7 hours endurance between charge.

Nice clean install but now that you flew the ac do you have any issues or mods to the yoke screen setup?
I agree small airports are getting more traffic with pilots who dont look out the windows being used to larger airport separation, but by me many still fly with either no radios or handheld units with questionable battery life.

No changes to the yoke mount needed. The angle is great for visibility and can be used on either side. Velcro straps hold the mount down tight and the iPad slides into felt lined rails...very secure in turbulence. I was careful as to the mounting location to assure it would clear the radio controls in the full down position. The Sentry is totally out of the visual line during all phases of flight but is easy to see the receivers indicators. We love having the additional safety augmenting our visual sweeps.
