F-19 Luggage Bay

Here are a few photo's of the new luggage bay I've made for SN F-147. The F-19's had a very nice 1/8th inch Birch Plywood bay when new. I have made a new one using Mahogany Ply and duplicating the original perfectly with one exception: I have made the side panels one piece instead of two. Total weight is 15 pounds, which is exactly what the original one weighted.

Nice!. That certainly raises the bar.
I think I would only carry SOFT luggage in it- a scratch would be terrible.
