I am glad to report I found a motor mount for the F-19, a brand new one in the box from the Taylorcraft factory, was collecting dust on a gentleman's shelf. Now I just need a nose bowl.
Brian, Univair has the nose bowl, I think they are around 850.00. If you need some Dzus fasteners, I have thousands, just come up to Ogden and pick your posion. I also have 2 nose bowls I will let you have one cheap. tim
We were a dealer for the F19 back in the 70's. One of the planes kept breaking the mount bolts. At first we suspected a bad set of bolts and just changed them out. As we put more time on the plane the problem didn't stop. Finally pulled the mount off and found the mount and fuselage fittings had not been de-burred. This was abrading the bolt and causing them to crack. Radiused out the holes with a countersink and the problem stopped. The AD is 75-18-05.

Thanks Ed! I had never heard of that one. I guess if I am modifying a BC12D to the "equivalent" of a Model 19 or F 19, it might be wise to scan over the AD list for them.
