Current owner contacted me the other day through the board. I had lost track of this bird since the guy we sold it to in 1999 had sold it and replaced it with an N3N. It was good to here it was still holding up fine after 10 years. Hopefully he will post up here some. This was my favorite of all of the Taylorcrafts we built over the last 20 years.

I have 2005Z(s/n f1018), I'll bet it was the next one after yours, I never owned a tail/cloth airplane but sure love it.I dont fly it as much as I sould (appx 20 hr yr) and with all the new inspections an stuff it get to cost almost as much as my twin cessna LOL

I have 2005E, serial #1015. It's a great plane also and it gets me around some good fishing spots in Alaska. I have it on 1500 Aqua floats in the summer and Aero 1800 skis in winter.

I have 2005s , and it is also in excellent shape. I have it on Baumann 1500's, and just got back last nite from a week long fishing trip, from 150 miles NW of Flin Flon , Manitoba, Canada. What a Blast
