  • F19 gasulater??

Was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find a new Gasulator for my airplane mine is pretty much wore out and needs to be replaced. I can't hardly find one and the ones I found are over $200, which I consider outrageous, was just wondering if anybody knew where I can possibly find one. Or if somebody had an extra they would be willing to sell,?

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: F19 gasulater??

There are several types, but all I have seen can be rebuilt pretty easy (easy is a relitive term). The only ones I have seen that couldn't be brought back to "like new" were the glass ones with chips in the edge of the glass or the metal can ones with the edges of the can so torn up they wouldn't seal any more. Even those were fixed with new glass or cans (check the "FAA certified" farm supplies, tractors used the same gascolators as Taylorcrafts. Wonder why tractor companies would use aircraft parts?) (;f
