  • F-21 8.50x6 tires?

    Hello,
Just wanted to know if anyone is using 8.50x6 tires
on an F-21 legally? We don't see it on the T.C.
Also anyone have an O-320 on a F-21?
It seems like everything is a field approval on the Tcart.

Thanks in advance,..... Ridesguy / F-21-B driver

The engine would be an STC, once YOU applied for it, for the tires you can use the 337's as a reference in the tech section to get a field approval. Tim

That would be a perfect combination. Work with your IA & the local PMI . The issue with larger tires can boil down to brakes ; will they hold at full RPM?? Do they need to?

So my stock 1982 F21 will slide on it mains with not even full power, O-235 6.00x6 and Cleveland's, is that holding if the tires don't turn but the aircraft moves?
