Came across this sweet looking T-Craft on the Rotec website.

29th November 2008: New Project post.Jim Swick starts ground testing his completed "Swick T Taylor Coupe" or clip wing for short. Superb work!

Actually, it kinda looks more like a little Howard than a 'Coupe to me. Still pretty cool though.

The Rotec site didn't say if he used the 110 or the 150.(?)

Put a tall gear on it and I might be in love. Kinda reminds me of a Cloudster

        Re: Round Engine Clip Wing

I didn't know there was a way to actually have LESS visibility out of a Taylorcraft

That is a fantastic idea overall, and it looks great. Mike's correct, a 6" taller landing gear would make it look better.

Speaking of Howards, the "Mister Mulligan" type upper strut fairings would look real good on that airplane, albeit at the loss of even more visibility.

Cute ship , I agree about the visibility, I have flown the Monocoupe a few times. We put a Lambert on a Pietenpohl. I will get pictures today.
I still have that F-22 fuselage here if any one wants to do a bigger clip wing. Price is now negotiable.

I do love everything about this one except for the ticking time bomb called Lambert on the front.
