Tribe- Great news!!! Some of you may have heard but Swick sold a while back and there will finally be some kits available in the near future. I spoke with the owner a few minutes ago- great guy and he has surrounded himself with people that are very well known in the aerobatic community. I think there will be a few articles coming out in the next month or so about them. Anyway- I am really excited to see this caliber of people promoting such a great airplane! More to come. . . . . .

Sounds good. Do they have a website?

Go onto barnstormers.com and they have an ad with a link to a website. The main website is not up yet.

My first impression was that I didn't care for the bullet cowl, but it's starting to grow on me. The rounded stockish (Cub?) wing tips are a surprise. It's got kind of a Monocoupe thing going on, I like it.

The Swick on the website is a prototype with Elliptical wing tips and a "cheek cowl". All the mods on the prototype will be available in the future. The Prototype is styled similar to the "Monocoupe"

The original Swick T (squared wing tips, Swick nosebowl) is going into production now. The wing was redisigned with 30% hinged ailerons (symmetrical), push rods instead of cables and other structural improvements.

I'm a little confused....are they doing a kit plane or and an STC to modify an existing T into a Swick?
Personally I think that nose is awful....looks good on an RV, but all wrong on a T.

                  Re: new Swick owners

Contact info? I have an original set of Swick drawings but don't certain areas how he did it. I want to know what all changes were made. I hope to be starting on my clipwing next year and it will be the last "B" I build
