    Hi...........new to this forum.
    Need some advice............
I built my clip wing & everything seemed to be going along just fine, until I started reading postings on this forum.
I shortened the original spar 30 inches inboard but left everything else stock except the outer aileron which is now 10 inches shorter. Finished wing is 12 ft. 8 in. long (wood ribs, plywood leading edge, counter balanced aileron) weighing 55 lbs, uncovered with no aileron.
Never gave a thought to the new alignment angle of the strut, so I did not change the original attachment bracket on the spar. The angle appears to be approx. 5 degrees from true, with 1 inch dihedral in wing. Ship is intended for normal flight, no acrobatics. I have put an inspection hole in that area.
Do I have a problem that must be corrected? Please advise.............

      Re: Need Advise

I would recommend that you contact a real ac design guy- not the dime store variety like me and have a little analysis done. Steve Wolf in Oregon comes to mind as a perfect guy to talk to- he is familiar with the Tcraft as well. The angle on my Cole was not changed but there was a vertical member to carry the torsional load. Alot will depend on the weight of the aircraft. . . . .

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.
