Re: airshow flying
Sitting at home - raining, bad day to be on vacation. I watched it a few times this morning- I like it. If you want an even longer video to watch check out Randy Henderson's site (Texas T-Cart) He has some cool in cocpit video.
Warren's airplane is probably the lightest, most powerful one out there. I still like the old Duane Cole routine with the C90. . . . just seemed more graceful.

Re: airshow flying
We all should send videos to a forum member that has the ability to put them on DVD and compile everything we can. I loaned my old tape of Sid Nelson and it never returned- I do think I know how to get it. I am sure Forrest has the one of him in Liesa Marie at the 1990 Fly-in, Randy's could be downloaded etc. It would just be really neat to have all this stuff to watch. I do have some stuff of me in the Swick- in cocpit with me looking like rubber man. If you have never done flat spins it gives you a new appreciation for it.
If anyone can do th evideo to DVD or just make copies of a video let us know. . .Eric Minnis

Re: airshow flying
Kevin- When I do my Pitts work with Bill Finnigan (S2C) we do those and inverted flats, crossovers, and every rendition of spins- I love them but I respect them- altitude is your friend. What are you doing inverted stuff in? The Tcraft will actually do a decent inverted spin- or so I am told;-)Eric Minnis

Re: airshow flying
It would be COOL to have everyone's Taylorcraft video clips on a DVD. I'd love to be able to see Eric's stuff, and Forrest's acro routine, and bush flying STOL home videos, and (hopefully) Rob Lees' apparently 6 inch separation formation flying. That would be a cool resource to offer club members.
I'll be the first to pay $20 for a DVD like that to have as archive material. Heck, I'll even take some video of my own and send it to Paul to include. No flat spins or inverted low passes, but we do have some interesting scenery here in the Mojave desert and Sierra Nevada mountains.
Think about it Paul, you ought to be a big-time movie producerTaylorcraft : Making Better Aviators for 75 Years... and Counting
