  • My little hanger

These beauties are my hanger mates.

We have been doing quite a bit of TLC on the BL-65. It sat unloved in a hanger for many years. She runs and flies really well. I have complete logs to day one, even a picture with the original owners the day they took delivery of it. Been getting some great advice and support from one of the members on this site. Working on complying with the Strut AD at the moment.

C140 was my first airplane. Bought it while I was still working on my PP license. It has been upgraded to an 0200 and a few modern avionics.

The other lady...needs no upgrades, low maintenance, no polishing needed, she is beautiful as is.

Glad you said something Rob. Now I don't look like a jerk. Hahaha

Nice plane, and um, aircraft model.

      Welcome Randy!
      Cheers,

Comes from a northern French dialect meaning "barn," "shed," or "enclosure."

It comes originally from the Norsemen invasion and has its root in ancient Germanic rather than Latin French. So, the word went from central Germany to Scandinavia, to French Normandy to ... the United Kingdom and finally to the US. Etymology is fun, isn't it?

Rob has been watching too many episodes of Fast and Loud, interweb, lol.

I like the origins of 'hanagar'.

Oh, and Rob's version of airplane is much better....aeroplane.

Well it seems your ignorance is showing, I will magnanimously help you out with it. Yokel, redneck, hillbilly and such refer to different geographic areas of the USA than the great PNW. Up here we are hicks, that is my story and I am sticking to it

I would get that pedantic think looked at or at the very least get a cream or something for it at the local drug store

Looks good Randy! I'm not that far away from you (your side of Kalispell, MT) so I'll try to get that direction this year and look you up!

Hi John - I am familiar with most areas in Montana but I had to look up Marion. I am in your area several times a year. I have customers all over that area but I don't recall ever going to Marion. I have flown into S27 a number of times.

If you are coming my way let me know and I will try to give you a heads up when I am in your area again.

Randy, I'm on the Great Falls sectional as Hanson (PVT). Not too far from Cabin Creek. I've got 2400' of turf, drop in sometime! I'll holler if I'm headed that way!

I found you on the map, looks like a nice area.

My airport is not listed on the Seattle chart but it is south of Spokane, about half way between Spangle (PVT) and the small town of Waverly, 2000' asphalt, 2436 MSL.
