windshild instalation

I have been working on BC12D basket case for the past year. I have a new windshield to install but I don't know what or how it is attached at the top, sides and bottom. Dose any one have any photos showing how the windshield is attached and secured?

  I just saw your request for info on windshields. What do you need? I have messed up enough of them I can certainly tell you many of the things NOT to do and what has actually worked for me. It is really easy to do some costly damage if you mess up!

  Hey Gary, when I had a 1 piece put in my Mooney, I deliberately hired a shop to do it. That way if it broke they would replace it. They didn't break mine, but I was there when they broke a C-180 windshield during installation. The air turned blue! The 180 belonged to the owner of the shop! hehhehhehhehheh. He wasn't happy, he supervised my install. It's not easy, as Hank says.
