I can get some pictures of the strip next time I am out. It is an aluminum strip with the front and aft edge bent down slightly to seal against the windshield in front and the fabric aft. There is a rubber sheet glued to the bottom side to keep it from cracking the windshield or cutting the fabric. It is held to the piece of wood over the tube with a row of screws. I will try and remember to lay a yard stick and 6" ruler by the edges so you can scale it. Nice simple part. If you had to lose one, that was the one to lose!
