We had the worst snow storm in a decade here last week and looks like another one is coming our way! We usually only get rain when the rest of the state gets snow and we are hoping the Chesapeake Bay protects us again this time. Bay effect makes our winter storms like we lived a couple hundred miles further south........except about once a decade! The cities of Norfolk, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach normally don't get snow while just across the river in Hampton it snows and as close as Williamsburg they get buried!
