The Dean of Aviation around Alliance, Ohio is gone. We wish the family our deepest condolences. Sandy is now up there with the Angels where gas is free and there is Sunshine every day. What a great Aviator, he could fly as if the wings were attached to him, I so recall my last flight with Sandy in the prototype F-19 Taylorcraft. He will be missed, if not for Sandy we would have no Taylorcraft Flying Club , he was there in the beginning for the founding of ECOPA . What a great visit we had the day before he Went West at Alliance community Care with his two Daughters Barb & Nancy .
Farewell Old Friend . You can now truly reach out and touch the face of God ! Forrest & Pat Barber and all your friends at the Barber Airport & Taylorcraft Foundation
