WE are trying to dry out after and long hard Winter. Here in Alliance we have been flying on and off ( more off than on) . The new discussion group is really going great. WE have over 500 members check it out at vb.taylorcraft.org . It is impossible to say enough good things about Bob Ollerton for making all this happen. I was just interrupted for about 20mins.. On the phone with NEW member Andrew King most of you should recognize THAT name. Bruce said he will be by here at 5PM for my contribution this time. Harry Ingram has sent me the factory news which will follow my ramblings.
Well the bad news ( For me!) is that I will not make Sun-N-Fun this year. This may be good news for some! Our very own State of Ohio Office of Aviation has scheduled their Spring Conference ( funding stuff) for that Tues & Wed. so I will not make it to Sun-N-Fun at all. I have send an e-message to all Board members and Jon Timlin & Robert Lees that they will have to take over in my place. Watch the list service for details. Please show up in the Forumns area at 1PM on Thurs for the Taylorcraft Forumn. I will really miss the tribe meetings each afternoon by the Vintage cabin porch , in the shade, before the airshow. Damn!
See you all at the Taylorcraft Factory Fly-In at LaGrange on Friday May 21st, 22nd & 23rd. Harry has made the following arrangements: Friday , early arrival camping (3T5); Sat. Open house , factory tours., Texas Bar-B-Q, share Taylorcraft stories, history seminar, photos for the 2005 Taylorcraft calendar. Sun May 23rd , Pancake Breakfast with Randy Henderson ( Clipped Wing Taylorcraft) flying an Air Show at 11AM , then return home. Randy has another site to fly on Sat. or he would have flown on Sat..
