The Taylorcraft Foundation

The Taylorcraft Foundation is exclusively organized for charitable, educational & scientific purposes and will preserve the history and technical information of the Taylorcraft airplanes. This Foundation is a chartered Ohio Corporation
and has been granted IRS 501(c)(3) status as a non-profit, tax exempt, organization.

Send in your check with return address, you will receive a form to fill out and return to get your membership activated and your info into our private files.

The membership fee is now $15.00 per year, ( july 2006) and is separate from membership in The Taylorcraft Owners Club (TOC). Please contact Forrest Barber if you have questions or can offer future support.

LaGrange Fly-In

Forrest will be unable to attend the factory Fly-In this year.

First we thought of bringing the Clip Wing down to the factory to show them a beautiful Standard Category BC12D with 180 HP. that fell through when both the owner , Mark Olinger & myself have to be in Akron, Oh for a meeting Wed evening...Now I find that I have to be here in Stark Co, Ohio on Friday afternoon.

For the gang that is going , have fun. I wish for good weather for all and have safe trips. See you all here in Alliance in July and you are all welcome to stop by at any other event we are hosting here in Alliance or just stop by as you wing about this great country of ours...

We have had several visitors this month already, I intend to document their visits soon and any one who wishes to tell about their travels to Alliance please do so.

Foundation dues and such

My daughter Laura Gatrell has caught up all memberships to the Foundation on July 1 st , 2004. She will be here during the fly-in to accept new members and renew old ones.
Just flew the BC12-D , 43533 with her brand new exhaust manifold from DAWLEY Aviation . Oshkoch here I come..... Leisa Marie will be here for the Fly-In hope to get another clip or three..... more soon Forrest still mowing and draining.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement that you have sent to my private e-mails directly [email protected] Bob Ollerton did a great job of sorting out the flaming on the list. I tried to hang back as much as possible.
Bruce Bixler is battling the big C again . I will do a report here and on the TOC thread tomorrow. In the meantime I am composing the insert from the Foundation for the TOC quarterly newsletter. Bruces son Josh is going to do the mailings.
I e-mailed Harry Ingram at the factory last week for an update, nothing yet tonight Dec 16th 9:30PM. Sooooo away we go with my best guess.

Please check out the article in the Dec 10th , General Aviation news magazine that I received today at 4:30PM. Meg Godlewski did a great job!
