I do believe it is that time again, so if anyone does not tune into the Taylorcraft web site www.taylorcraft.org here is the skinny from there:

July 24th thru 30th, 2006: EAA AirVenture (aka OSH/Oshkosh)
The Taylorcraft Foundation & TOC will be in the Type Club Tent in the Antique-Classic area. Taylorcraft Forum as usual. Special Taylorcraft parking area, Special display of many of the Taylorcraft models. Check thread on Foundation Forum for updates.

NEW and Noteworthy! "Care & Feeding of your Taylorcraft” by Bruce Bixler & Forrest Barber on Thurs. July 27th at 1PM to 2:25PM in the Forum buildings area. Bruce or Forest will be at the Type Club Tent each day during the Air Venture Week. Outside Display area open at times to Taylorcrafts.

This starts the thread anyone attending may post and enjoy. I will be attending from Monday thru Friday, maybe Sat., I will be in the Type Club Tent each morning from about 10AM to 1PM, I will also volunteer at IAC twice that week. We are sorting out the Taylorcraft Row, but it did not seem very popular, our guys seem to want to be where they want to be! So be it, that is the American way...... more soon just posted the insert to the TOC newsletter on another thread. Been real busy, working on #1 Taylorcraft in the shop right now. WE will be placing a LSA ( Taylorcraft B model) in the LSA area ( right north of Vintage) all week at Air Venture, I think we can move in and out, more on that soon.
I would like some owner to volunteer for ALL week OR we can split it up with one from Sun thru Wed or Thurs then another one to finish out the week any offers. Post here or send direct to me, great chance to get your ship in the news [email protected]

I see the factory will not be there, they are offered a bit of time at our forumn on Thurs if they want it!!

Have not confirmed the "Taylorcraft Row" for this year, not really popular last year. Use a VAA or VAC sign with Taylorcraft on the sign and we will see what happens.

Factory not going to be there? Too bad, Its a great place to let people know whats you are doing and selling.

Yeah I always thought that was true too! Getting ready to go, had to fix a mag problem & do a bunch more mowing today. We set heat records here in Ohio too!

There is another thread on going to OSH , here is what is happening here!!
I will be in the Type Club Tent Tues, Wed. & Thurs., maybe Friday a bit ; forumn on Thurs. cell # 330 495 5447 Bruce will not make it , out of remission back to chemo , I will explain to our friends at OSH at the table & at the fourumn. WE still need a LSA Model B to display.........and we ahve the offer to put a Taylorcraft in the yard at Vintageon FRIDAY July 28th, it is to be in palce at 9AM Friday then abck to normal on Monday.... Saw Bruce tonight, Sunday. He is ready for treatments on Tues. good spirits! We have the Kinner Sportster here overnight I will pop into VAA tomorrow afternoon late for the show.... I have an an awesome DVD of Taylorcrafts 2006 and Old factory stuff as a sample of what we will have in the future. I will show it in the tent AND at the forumn. That is about it. see u there!
