Well I did it! Last year I flew down sharing fuel with five other guys. Cost me more than airline travel. THIS year I was THINKING of coming by one of my ships. Haaa then I checked with Airtran; ( good deals)
I will be arriving at Tampa on Monday April 3rd, I will be at the main gate at 8AM on Tues. returning on Sunday, the Taylorcraft Forumn is Thurs. The Taylorcraft tribe usually meets around 12N to 1PM beside the porch at the Vintage cabin next to Type Club Tent if nothing has changed , see you all there on Tues , Wed, Fri & Sat.
Hi Bob , yes I did it, I will have my own car. I will e-mail you direct to co ordinate this latest venture! Soooo lets use this thread for anybody coming, phone numbers, etc.. my cell # is 330 495-5447. Maybe give me some topics for the Forumn ( Thurs , April 6th , 1PM , Forums area) for this year, I will have the usual reports from the Foundation & the Owners Club. Hope to see the factory show up. I will be doing the insert for the TOC newsletter tomorrow. Bruce & I have been getting his new ( to him) engine) ready for his BC12D. I will start the OSH thread again for 2006 next week.

Judy and I plan to fly down n this year. We plan to leave on the 4th and hope to get there in one day. It all depends on weather of course . Going down in the Cruisair and plan to camp in the camping area. We will then leave Lakeland on Friday or Saturday and plan to stop in Knoxville to see our son. Home in the Akron area on Sunday.

Carolyn and I plan to drive down on Wednesday and return on Sunday. Staying in the Confort Inn in Plant City.

I can not make it this year. Harry told me two weeks ago when I stopped in at the factory they were coming to sun and fun.
Might want to invite him to the forum and let him tell the guys what they are doing and what the furture holds

If you are coming thru Western NC on your way to Sun-N-Fun before Wesnesday (the 4th) or after Monday (the 10th), you are welcome to stop over at my 1700 ft strip (29NC). Look at my web site for information and precautions. Also, 5000 Ft paved public airport (EHO) 4 miles south.

Still going Air Tran on Monday ( tomorrow) got the real needed data plates out in the mail, door handles, bungee cables, lots of advise, no ailerons yet!
