Thanks for letting me join,I am the new owner of N44436....Taylorcraft BC-12-D1 ser#10236...Found it sitting in a hangar in Reno NV and have brought to Vacaville Ca. for a ground up restoration..It will return to skies were it belongs

delivery day,and day 2 strip and starting repairs..couple bent tubes

Work continues but heres an update on OL Rusty!! Only 2 more tubes to go on the fuse,that makes 16 tubes changed....As of today the right wing is ready for new leading and trailing edge,i have leading edge still searching for trailing...back at it tomm

whenever I rebuild a wing I get aircraft spruces trailing edge. Its slightly larger but the end result is the same. Actually I think it is stronger than the original stuff. Just notch where the rib tails go and screw it on.
