    Re: To All Forum Members

No, Harry did not put me up to anything. I have met Harry only one time.

Lets get back to the fact that you did not answer a single question. What are you afraid of? Truth hurt? Or did you attend the Bill Clinton school of deseption and counter accusations? Give us a full diclosure of your actions good or bad.

It is not much fun when you become the target of your own actions. Think about it. I think you have done enough to "help" all Taylorcraft owners.

      Re: To All Forum Members

I am a mechanic and have a restoration shop in Graham, TX. I called Harry almost three years ago and asked if he could provide me with a part. I told him I didn't any paperwork and asked if he could provide the part. He assured me that he could. I asked when he could ave it done and he gave me a date. Never happened. Excuse after excuse. It was manly the FAA's fault cause they wouldn't approve the part which I didn't need. I have good friends in the FAA and I started making phone calls. Come to find out I was being out and out lied to. A design had never been submitted to the FAA. I run my own business. I know the pitfalls that you can get into. Out of all by ups and downs I must keep my integriety. I have run into problems and delayed a customer getting his airplane when promised but I tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may. I am human as is everyone. I don't appreciate being lied to and it cost me time and money. I am sure Bob has an axe to grind but I don't think he is making things up from the people I know who have been to the factory and picked up their projects. It is disheartening to me to read these great things that are going to come out of LaGrange in Sport Aviation and GA Flyer and know that they will never happen. There is a market. I have been involved somewhat with the Legend Cub and they are selling quite a few. They are an upstart company that has invested much time and money and obviously has a strong business plan. Maybe someone can learn from these guys.

Hey Mike! In reply...." What have you done or tried to do to get Taylorcraft aircraft back into production or keep the ones in the field going? I worked there, did you? "Were you not hired to design interiors?" How many did you complete?" Yes, I was hired to design and sew and install them also. When I went to work there, Harry told me that beginning January 17, 2005, that 3 completed airplanes a week would start rolling out of there. Suprise! another lie!...not a single one had the chance of going anywhere. In order to do that, Harry would need engines, wings, and lots of parts to complete them, and he didn't have them, and couldn't get them. I instead sewed up about 20 airplane interiors, and their waiting on the planes to put them in. I can't completely finish MY job until the planes are built. I also spent a lot of time recovering tail feathers, along with putting the interior shop together, talking with fabric and leather salesman, getting numerous samples together, and getting together a "Show Room" of which Harry would not finish due to lack of money.

And in answer to your question about how much money I have in the business? Why would anyone invest in a business when Harry is running the place? I wouldn't, it's a recipe for a sure disaster! Before Ik new about him, however, I boughta sewing machine and some equipment and took it down there when I went. He promised me my money back when I got there, didn't happen. He didn't give me my money for a several months. After promising me repeatedly almost every day he was fixing to give it back to me.

Weren't you the person that lived in a trailer at the factory for free and still could not get to work on time? I was the person that spent upwards of $3000.00 staying at hotels just to work there. OF course, Harry said he would take care of it, and of course he never did. The last 3 weeks I was there, Yes, I DID finally pull my trailer there, and parked it round back, at Harry's request... I was tired of paying out hotel fee's, and it sure looked like I wasn't going to get reimbursed. Also. I didn't HAVE a SET TIME to be there. IN Fact, Harry couldn't supply materials and such for me to WORK a FULL 40 Hours a week. IN Fact, Harry encouraged people taking off, or working shorter hours ... and I did.

Didn't you borrow 500.00 bucks from Harry that you did not repay? Your way off! That money was to go for my reimbursement for per diem, hotel. He wound up getting it back when he took it BACK out of my pay. And said he would get it back to me, but of course didn't.
Weren't you the person that the cops came to the factory to calm down because of the ruckus you were causing? Didn't they escort you out? Didn't they tell you not to return?
Wrong again! I called them there. Harry's big mouthed, little right hand man, Frank, the guy whose been in an argument with every person who works there, including me... Starting running his head at me late one afternoon, and locked the front door so I couldn't get in. He was not even supposed to be there, and he wouldn't let me or another employee back into the building. I called the law, and Harry, Darlene, Rachel, and Travis came out there, and stuck up for me. They told the police Frank didn't have any business still being in the factory, and that I was welcome there... Then I got my stuff. Asked not to come back? wrong again!

"What I see here is a pissed off ex-employee trying to destroy a man, a factory and an aircraft for personnel satisfaction and money. You are wrapping yourself in the cloche of "victum." Shame" OH Pleeease!.. You just don't get it, do ya Mike? IM alerting people as to what Harry's been doing with their money meant to work on their planes with. All the people who have thousands and thousands of dollars invested in Harry, with nothing to show for it.... And It's obvious you would just let it all continue,. and would have helped, and contributed to his ripping people off... I don't have to wrap myself in a let's see, what was it you said? Oh yeah, a
"Cloke of Victum."( Your uneducated misspelling) He did it to me, along with almost everyone else that had any business dealings with him!
"Harry may not be perfect" This statement alone shows how far out in left field YOU ARE!

"He is the only person that stuck his neck out to get Taylorcaft back into production."

4 years and counting, and not one single plane yet! What "Production" would you been referring to?
"[Harry) that has taken the risk not you, not me. Harry has risked his future, his money and his time. I hope he makes this company work."

Yes, Harry has taken the risk, and his business practices have short circuited any pipe dream he had for success... We ALL hope the company works, but without Harry...

Mike, In all of the letters of support, phone calls, emails, and word on the street, that have giving me support for what IM doing, YOUR THE ONLY PERSON who has been negative towards me. Everyone else has thanked me for alerting me to (In our opinion), Harry's scamming practices. I've had people write me, thanking me, People who were about to SEND Harry Money. And now won't be. the people who were fixing to buy parts, who won't be, People who were going to work for Harry, and now won't be. Also, I have gotten private emails from several-several people who have money invested in a new Taylorcraft, but are afraid to go on record, for fear of losing their money for sure! IT'S already GONE!
Mike, everything you've stated in your'e letter are lies! You sure seem to have the same opinions as Harry, and now your defending his business practices! Please the name of Your business, so we will know to avoid doing business with you too!,, Bob Macey

Am I allowed to say that in all my dealings with Harry and his staff, mainly buying parts I'll admit, so no great outlay on my part, or chance of being ripped off. I have always received good service. I sincerely hope that the factory make a go of it because it's what we Taylorcrafters want. OK short and sweet so shoot me down.

Isn't it amazing how this Taylorcraft factory has stirred up emotions and pitted one against another. In all my days of hanging around airports and airplanes, I have always been amazed at how well everyone gets along and how the common bond that we all share can make instant friendships between individuals who would otherwise have nothing in common. Rightly or wrongly, it seems this Taylorcraft Factory has constantly injected poison into this website!

At many times it has been interesting reading, but it is getting old now.

I came to my conclusions about the factory through personal experience. I believe there has now been enough posted on this website that every member can make can make an informed decision on whether they want to deal with the factory or not.

It is still good to hear news and updates about the factory, and even personal experiences in dealing with the factory. We are all interested in that. But this has degenerated far beyond that.

                    Re: To All Forum Members

I've set back and read this for sometime now and I would like to ask,no.....beg for everyone to get along.I have my own reasons and opinions of the factory that most of you already know about from previous posts and subjects but that is between them and me and shouldn't be taken out one everyone on this list. This has always been the friendliest place to be.I could always get on here to relax and not listen to maddness or fighting(if I wanted to do that I'd spend quality time with my wife).I have exchanged several emails with Bob in private and he has every reason to be upset as do a lot of other people I know both on and offline.I also know a some people that have had good service with the factory depending on what they were wanting.I am by NO means defending Harry, but I am defending this forum list and all who are affected by all of the negetivity that has been forced upon us lately.
So if anyone here is going to ask for stories and opinions about Harry and/or the factory let's read, listen, and comment but if you must start fighting about someones experience that doesn't agree with your own opinion or happenings then please do your fighting through private email or messaging and leave the rest of us to enjoy the forum.I must admitt that Bob has a good point and we thank him for his imput, but we have gotten the point and it is begining to get out of hand.I mean no offence to you Bob(or anyone else)and I know what your going threw but please help us bring peace back to the forum and lets not fight or defend every comment that comes out about the Factory just because we don't agree with it.We all welcome any stories, comments, and experiences but please let everyone else make thier own decisions based upon thier own readings and research.
Here is all the comments I have about the factory.I sure hope they make if but I'm affraid they are going to crash and burn with Harry behind the yoke(Absolutly just a figure of speech). One of my biggest fears is that he is going to start letting the people below the border start building all the parts, which is perfectly ok,but if he sends all the tools and machainery down there and then the place goes belly up,how will anyone ever get all the tooling back to start over again?

I agree with Crispy Critter, I think the negativity is getting out of hand. In the end everyone who has commented has spoken their mind, good and bad, about the factory. There is a lot of "it's my word against yours" going on so you have to keep that in mind and form your own opinions.
In the end let's hope the factory is successful and can start turning out airplanes!

Hi fellow tribe members, I have been monitoring the past two days, I have talked with Bob Ollerton and others involved. I will never censor anyones right to speak; BUT if anybody is familiar with Roberts Rules & other methods of parlimentary procedure we find sometimes there is a limit to times one person can speak on the same subject. So relax out there if you have replied five times on this subject. Time will sort this out, we have heard from the aggrieved partys and they say they will take all this to court ; Go for it and see what happens.
In the meantime, the die is cast, the move to Brownsville is now in the history books. If anybody really feels the passion to produce Taylorcrafts in an other fashion then buy it out lock, stock & barrell and put it where you want it. In the mean time lets see what happens. YES the folks from Brownsville have contacted me, one person down there is a brother to a very good friend of mine. Both grew up right outside Alliance, Oh... He is honest and will relay things to me..

Personally I want to see a HELL of a lot more than " A Taylorcraft Flying" That bar is as low as catfish shit in my opinion If any one wants to build a Taylorcraft then see me or any of the other (probably hundreds) other project Taylorcrafts out there. I have two that any worthwhille builder (and yes ...sigh fabricator) could get up in a short period of time.

Bruce Bixler said it since I joined the Taylorcraft Club in 1994 "what we need is a good source for Parts" I now join his voice some 11 years later. Someone somewhere PLEASE listen. SOO where NOW do we go???????

                              Howdy Jim & tribe,

I think that any of the parts can be mfg under the owner mfg rule. The problem is finding a fabricator that won't charge an arm & a leg. I understand that WagAero & univair are taking an interest but who knows what that will lead to. I have not commented on the Taylorcraft fiasco but a good friend of mine @KGOK is owed about $1600. and it looks like that money is gone. I understand start up costs & delays but when the president out & out lies about returning the money, there is a problem. I fervently hope that the Taylorcraft factory gets off the ground(no pun intended) so that parts will become available but I have serious doubts. In the mean time I suggest that all of the tribe start looking for fabricatiors or suppliers and mabey we could collectively get together and gin up a list that everyone would have access to. Another idea is to have a section devoted only to parts that other folks have that they would be willing to part with. I'm sure that most of the good folks that visit this site have one or two items that they would sell or at least loan out for a pattern and mabey this would help alleivate some of the problems that Tcrafters encounter when looking for something. If anybody else has any ideas this would be a good place to start.
                              Best Regards
