    Re: Taylorcraft Factory complaint board

I agree, but now with the 0-200 back into production, or even the Jabaru (?) engine, keeping the same airframe and wings, and tailfeathers, and just go for it.

I am getting older, but would certainly invest and buy one also, if the right people would get in there. Everyone is bitching, but no one seems to want to grab the bull by the horns. Man to be younger even 65 again.

Ok tribe, lets see if we can get this thing off the ground and quit bitching. Hell maybe Forest or Cpt. Jon knows something about what is happening, or another way to start.

    ANY TAKERS ????

Sabrina, Understood. We all want it back in production. Heck we all just want parts for starters. Forrest had it right about parts first. The BC12D would be just fine. There are still enough A-65s tossed aside as some "need" more power. Also one could do like Legend Aircraft and go with the NEW 0-200 if Continental decides it is worth another 50 or so production run as they did with Legend Aircraft.

        Question ????

Does anyone really know where Harry is ? Or better yet, what is the state of the Taylorcraft Company ? Does he want to sell it ? Is it already sold ? Has he moved out of LaGrange TX? Is he in Brownsville ? Or has some Mexican group either purchased or bought into the company, as some has speculated ?

        Just wondering ??

          Re: Taylorcraft Factory complaint board

You'd think that one of the factory sales reps who used to post regularly on this site would have had something to say by now. What's up guys?

Yes, your soooo right!, THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING!...My best guess is, they're ALL hiding under Harry's desk with him. If you go to the factory to speak to Harry, When you go in the front door.. walk about 20 feet, Harry will be hiding in an unused bathroom, the second door to your left... WHERE'S OUR MONEY HARRY??? The factory reps also carried the messages. Smart thinking on Harrys part. Personally I do not believe they want to make any public comments at this point. I am not a lawyer either but........
On a seperate note I had the opportunity to meet Capt John and had some unrelated to the T craft factory business dealings with him. I found him to be a good guy. I suspect the other guys are as well.

Yes, I agree, They all are good guys, the reps... I know Gary, and I've met Jon, great guys!.. They've just been duped like me, and everyone else... They just need to wake up, and distance themselfs form Harry. Poor Gary, He has $31,000,00 dollars invested in a metal fuselage, Id hate to be in his position, along with the OTHER 17 PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT INVESTED...

Like I said on another thread, I have been away for a while rescuing a Taylorcraft. WE do not censor facts or the truth..... please keep this going but lets not repeat, repeat of course you got a used tank Craig WE know that!! A lot of stuff from Lock Haven recently surfaced down South in some 40 footers... a lot of this stuff was in Quarantine. Lets see how this all plays out. Meg & I have talked recently, sorry we could not get together for a factory fly-in.
