The International Olympic Committee announced
today that it has taken back the gold medal
previously awarded to American skier Lindsey
Vonn and given it to U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama.







Olympic officials said Obama deserved the medal
more than Vonn because no one has ever gone
downhill faster than he has.

What i hate to see is so many people are willing to let it happen, Why? There is so much evidence that policies now in place are so destructive to the freedoms we grew up with. One example for pilots is the relentless push of the current White House administration to get user fees into general aivaiition, this according to AOPA and other pilot group will destroy general aviation as we know it this is there words , and according to them It is still very much on the white house administration agenda. Thats just one example of mis guided policies ahead if WE DO NOTHING.

I once was told a story that may shed some light on waltermrich's comment "why are people willing to let it happen"

A young man from Africa had immigrated to the US and went to college

In one his classes the professor was extolling the advantages of the liberal agenda. After listening awhile the young african asked the professor if he had ever seen anyone catch and trap pigs. The professor acknowledged he had not.

So, the young student explained how in Africa if you wanted to catch pigs the farmer would put out some corn.

At first the wild pigs would shy away and for awhile not eat the corn but eventually they would settle down and eat the free corn.

Once the pigs were eating the corn without shying away the farmer put up one side of a fence.

Again for a few days the pigs shied away from the strange fence but eventually they would be back for the free corn.

So the farmer patiently kept adding the sides to fence as the pigs got use to the fence being there and would come back for the free corn.

Until the day the last bit of fence went up. The pigs were nervous and aggitated about being trapped at first.

But as long as the free corn kept coming they began to accept the fence


So, it seems that as the liberal agenda has lured a large chuck of society into taking the "free corn from the government" they have begun to "accept" any loss of freedoms
