  • Welfare for the Dogs

This morning I went to sign my dogs up for welfare.

At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare."

So I explained to her that my dogs are mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can't Speak English and have no clue who
    their Daddys are.

They expect me to feed them, provide them with housing and medical care.

So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify.

My dogs get their first checks Friday.

I got my dog set up months ago. When you register them to vote, set them up as absentee Democrats. Otherwise you might jeopardize the whole thing.

Thanks Forrest. It's great to be part of the tribe.

Yeah, but you don't need Welfare for dogs because if no one wants to support them they can go to the dog pound.

Wait, wait, that's a thought; a possible solution to welfare. You take away the welfare and have kind of a, well, a "camp." Surely that would cost a lot less. Come to think of it there are a lot of extra empty buildings we could use in the housing projects. I guess you would have to put a fence around them to keep things in control.

Of course eventually if no one wanted to support them, you know, like "adoption," well then .......

Unemployment being what it is, and from various comments I've seen on the internet, you wouldn't have any problem finding people to run the camps, and also, well, you know, operate the equipment.

            WOW, flyguy!!!!!

            What's up with that???

Your response to a little lighthearted dig directed toward an overun bureaucracy was kinda over the top!!!

Maybe a more even keeled response would be to inforce the immigration laws that are already on the books and to provide programs that would prevent those on welfare legally from making it a career choice!!!
