I watched. Kind of interesting. A lot of over dramatization, in some cases.

Your right, Tom. It was a little over dramatized. I am just amazed at what some of these guys will attach to their airplane to get it from one place to another.

watched it until about 1:30am this morning(ET). When I was moving SuperCubs around the north west a few years ago I would load up a friend and attach rod & reels rolled up in sleeping bags to the struts/jury struts on one side and a tent on the other side, find a sand bar or reasonably flat area near the water to land and camp out for a couple days at a time. If the fish wasn't biting good in one place we would load up and head up or down stream and find a place where they were. Always fun, relaxing, and exciting all at the same time. Most of the Super Cubs I was flying would operate safe & easy from 300' in the summer below 3000' elevation.

Wildest I ever heard of was a 7 foot sofa strapped between the pontoons on the bigger Dehavilland. It was referred to in a book titled "From those wonderful folks who gave you Pearl Harbor," about advertising.
