    The Taildragger

    You ground-looping dog,
    You miserable bitch,
With a mind of your own,
And one wheel in the ditch!

    Designed by the Devil,
    To drive me insane,
    You're skittish in crosswinds,
And a bastard in the rain!

    If I touch one brake,
    Just a trifle too hard,
    You'll roll us both up,
    In the airport junkyard.

Still, I love you, old airplane,
    With your rag-covered wings,
    But why do you insist
    On doing your thing?

    Then the rare perfect landing,
    Fills me with cheer....
    Hell, ANYone can land
    A tricycle gear!

    Howdy Mike,

      Hey Paul,

I should have mentioned that I can't take any credit for it. Someone sent that to me in an email and thought others might relate to it also.

I doubt that the original author had Shinn wheels though do you? That's good as far as I'm concerned. Haven't had a time yet when they had too much authority...
