  • Ramblin's from the North

    I like this:
"A human being should be able
to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a
building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone,
comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve
equations, analyze a new problem, bend tube, pitch manure, program a
computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
    Specialization is for insects".

Sounds like a Police Officer to me! I did all that stuff at one time. Oh well back to the wet, messy crap here in NE Ohio. Skis on the BC12D and water over them. 61 degrees going down to 4 tomorrow. Just practicing for my excursion to Alaska

Forrest isn't going anywhere if those skis are still under water (in ice) tomorrow. That is unless he can drag mother Earth with him. We sure have had the liquid precip here too and with this intense cold frontal passage tonight, we are to be blessed with another heavy dose. There will be serious flooding in the Ohio valley.
