This is my friend's Aeronica K model. Thirty two HP. Recent rebuild. Doesn't quite run yet. I understand there are only 3 around in flying condition in the US. We're working at it. The guy, of course, is me.

Thanks for posting the picture Darryl. I printed it off and will show it to my 95 yr old father this evening. He soloed in an Aeronca K 77 yrs ago (1937) in Cottonwood, Az.
i cant remember what plane it was but the engine look similar to one my ia buddy tore down had dropped a valve in flight was bad think it got scraped now has a o-200 think heck the ntsb came out and looked at it
