Any Ideas?

This particular part came with my basket case and I have absolutely no idea what it could be for, It may not even be for my aircraft but does seem to have some of the original blue paint so it has me curious. Thanks in advance.

Bottom cover between the landing gear it's in front of the shock cords.

I took my project apart a few montha ago. I remember that "pan" and were it goes. It goes under the air frame with wide part of the pan to the front. As you look at it in your pic, you will notice about a 6 inch notch on the right side. That is notched so to clear the heel brake cables. Look at the airframe and the cross bar just behind the heel brakes, there should be three tabs facing downward off that tube. That is were it bolts on. Hope this helps.
