  • LaPorte, Texas - Taylorcraft parts

Does anyone know Bob Wagstaff? Maybe he's already part of the tribe.
A pilot friend of mine was driving through LaPorte and he ran into Bob.
Apparently Bob has a biggish pile of TCraft parts. Several fuselages. Lots of wing ribs. All manner of other stuff.

    Dead spars for blanks
    4 or 5 fuselages
Boxes and boxes of bits and pieces like brake parts, pulleys, cables
    Lots of landing gears
    Several wheels
    a few control wheels
    lots of doors
lots of original seats for patterns
    lots of dead exhausts
    lots of flying wires
wooden molds for making aluminum wing tip fairings
    a few windshields
    lots of magnetos
    about 6 BC12 boot cowls
about 2 A model boot cowls
one or two really nice aluminum front cowl
A shelf full of wheel fairings
Boxes of aluminum fairings for the wings and interior
    About 3 instrument panels

I have been to Bob's hanger. He has a ton of stuff. I purchased many parts for N95817. The best thing to do is go there. The problem is he has a lot of stuff and the time it takes for him to go pick out what you may need cost more than the part.. Bob is a great guy, I am sorry I have not stayed in touch with him.
