Re: Alaska Airframes still making struts?

I have aquired a pair of rear Alaska Airframe produced rear struts, just wondering if they will fit ok on my Taylorcraft , the original pair on my Taylorcraft, having passed the AD inspection more than 4 year ago , do not look the same at the attach point on the fuselage , seems like the originals have the tabs that attach to the fuselage bent at about 20 degress to fit into its bracket under the door. Any one have similar experience?

If you should ever see this guy, hit him with a wing strut and RUN!
I always wondered what a scam artist looked like!
